There are two bus transport systems that take two different routes to various destinations. While one is cheap, the other is nominal. One of the main bus services leaves the airport every 30 minutes and goes towards Puerto del Rosario, towards the airport and the city of Caleta de Fuste.
The fares of the first main bus are much cheaper. The other bus runs from Puerto del Rosario to the airport and to Morro Jable.
The parking space at the Fuerteventura airport is huge and can accommodate approximately 1,200 cars at one time. Unlike other airports the first half hour of the car park is free, the fees are charged from the second half of the hour. There are hourly charges for parking ones car.
The 1,200 parking lots are for private car parks. Apart from these personalized parking spaces, there is also a 300 space that is given to the car hire companies, and with these there are a further 60 spaces for coaches.
