Reus airport is situated 3 kms from the city of Reus, 13 kms from Tarragona and 80 kms from Barcelona.
Reus airport is the main airport for the Costa Dorada and the resort of Salou. The airport is close to Portaventura which is a theme park run by Universal Studios. The drive from the centre of the city of Barcelona takes around half an hour.
The airport is going through some changes to its terminals. The erection jobs are currently in progress for a new check in terminal while the departures terminal is being renovated. There is a new building attached to the departures terminal where the boarding gates are situated. You call follow instructions at the airport to make the transition process simple.
The taxi service at Reus airport is located outside the arrivals terminal. The taxis can accommodate only 4 passengers at a given time, and beware because very few taxis have a child safety seat. Although there are no train services from Reus airport, one can go to city centre and utilise the local trains.

The journey between the Airport and Barcelona takes around 90 minutes and the bus can be boarded outside the arrivals terminal. The Airport - Costa Daurada service takes around 45 minutes and the bus stops in La Pineda, Faro, Salou and Vilaseca.
The Airport - City Centre bus leaves from outside the arrivals terminal and takes around 25 minutes to get to its destination. This bus also stops at the Reus train station.
Parking at the Reus Airport is free with 2 car parks which are open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The first car park can accommodate only hired cars, employees and airport employees while the second car park can also accommodate people with reduced mobility.
