Vitoria airport is only 10 kms away from the city of Vitoria and only 64 kms away from the south of Bilbao.
The provincial airport of Vitoria Gasteiz handled approximately 12,225 flights and almost 67,818 passengers in the year 2008. The airport also handles flights that come in from Barcelona and Madrid which are inland flights.
The number of passenger flights that the airport handles is comparatively lower than other airports in Spain; however the airport also handles a large number of cargo flights and is ranked after the airports of Barcelona and Madrid. The car park space is situated opposite the airports terminal building. Currently the parking space has approximately 555 parking spaces for vehicles at the Vitoria airport. There are no charges for parking ones vehicle here, and both long term and short term parking are free.
